On 13-16th Oct 2019, the 2nd Sino-EU Innovation Week of Health Technology (SIWHT) was successfully held in the most innovative area of Shanghai and Nanjing in China. The 2nd SIWHT gathered 15 high-end innovative projects from Germany, Switzerland, Spain, and China to present their projects on the event. The Steinbeis China Center is also launched in the Nanjing Ceremony.

More than 300 people deeply involved in Shanghai and Nanjing event, over 30 in-depth one-on-one communications were promoted.

The SIWHT was organized by Beijing YG Venture Capital M&C and International Co-Innovation Center for Advanced Medical Technology (iCCAMT). The event has gathered representatives of the Investment of Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Commerce of PR. China; representative of different consulate from Germany, Swiss and Spanish; Nanjing Government officials; delegates from the international organizations, non-government associations; industry experts, senior investors, and other related people.

13 European and 2 China technology innovated companies invited by iCCAMT, presented their projects in the Nanjing closing ceremony. The Organizing Committee evaluated each project and awarded the top three. 1st Prize: Advanced Breast-CT GmbH, 2nd Prize GoodGut SL, InSphero AG, 3rd Prize: Atriva Therapeutics GmbH, Applied Research using Omic Sciences SL and VitaDX International.

Launched in 2018, the SIWHT is a high-level international event. “Our goal is to establish communication platforms for European and Chinese health technology entrepreneurs and investors to integrate into China innovation ecosystems and market, and furthermore, to explore possibilities to set up business in China and benefit from the growth of the Chinese economy.” Dr. Wu Hui, CEO & Founder of iCCAMT said.
