The 1st SIWHT, Sino-EU Innovation Week of Health Technology, closed with innovators from Germany, Sweden, Switzerland and China, giving praise to the host's investment and life science community, and facilitating Sino-EU collaboration in health technology innovation, local media reported on Saturday.
From 29th,Oct to 2nd, Nov, the SIWHT took place in Shenzhen, Shanghai and Nanjing. The event attracted 400 participants from 6 countries, featured 18 presentations representing the innovative projects and insight of VC & innovation in China, over 50 one-on-one matchmaking requests.
12 European and 2 China based start-up companies invited by iCCAMT, International Co-Innovation Center for Advanced Medical Technology presented their projects in the closing ceremony. CellTool GmbH, founded by Karin Schütze, won the 1st prize; Biognosys AG from Zurich, with fundamental technology from ETH professor Ruedi Aebersold, and Hugo Biotech from China achieved the runner-up; The 3rd prizes were conferred to Dualsystems Biotech AG, SanoLiBio GmbH and Tantica Bio Co.,Ltd.
